Mitologia

This sprint week was focused on mythology, ecology and magic. My sprint week project is a journey through my ancestral heritage by rewriting mythology and building a world around it. My family is (Roma/Romani) Hungarian and unfortunately isn't that open about it. This project is my first step to create my own narrative about my ancestry and heritage.

For this project I wrote a new myth about a new triple deity and her (re)birth. This deity is inspired by Roma/Romani and Hungarian symbolism. To support my written myth I designed imagery to showcase all three of her appearances. This I hand printed with a silkscreen on pieces of cloth.
